Challenge

In partnership with more than 20 leading nurse and healthcare organizations, the American Nurses Association (ANA) has embarked on a social campaign, generously funded by Johnson & Johnson, to bring vital and current COVID-19 information to nurses on the frontlines of the pandemic.

Nurses play a key role in patient education and as the pandemic has brought to light disparities throughout our healthcare system, ANA seeks to increase COVID-19 vaccine confidence among nurses that can help reach key communities with vaccine information and reduce vaccine hesitancy, particularly among historically vaccine-hesitant communities.

Approach

Partnering with healthcare providers with a large reach across social media channels, ANA drove awareness about vaccine facts and myths, directing audiences to their COVID Vaccine Facts for Nurses campaign website to learn more and access the latest resources on COVID-19 information.

Results

"Nurses’ longstanding vital role in vaccine education and administration takes center stage in the COVID Vaccine Facts for Nurses campaign. This dynamic resource provides frontline health workers with timely, accurate information to drive much-needed, improved patient outcomes." - My American Nurse
